Update 36.0.2 Release Notes

News and Notes:
Classes
- Warden – The Cardolan Essence of Mastery once again correctly reduces your Mastery skill cooldowns when you critically hit.
Items
- Tokens of Heroism now function properly after a character is defeated.
- The Needful Haste Duration Traceries from the following packages have been replaced with Ranged Attack Evade and Block Chance Traceries, since Hunstman Hunters do not have access to Needful Haste:
- Huntsman Traceries – Level 120
- Huntsman Traceries – Level 130
- Huntsman Traceries – Level 140 (both from Valar packages and Legendary Item Builder Set packages)
- This will not affect Traceries that have already been received or Huntsman Traceries packages that have already been opened.
- The four-piece set bonus of the “Armour of the Dinhigil” now properly guarantees a Devastating Hit after using Aim.
Localization
- French:
- The translation for “Angmar Coal” (plural) has been updated.
- The display of the “Explorer of the White City” Deed has been corrected.
- German
- Text for Shattered Traceries now displays properly.
PvMP
- The Mount speed of the Mahogany Bay Horse, rewarded through Monster Play, is now set at a +68% speed boost.
- Tinctures that formerly boosted Audacity were causing some unwanted behaviors in the Ettenmoors. As a result, we have changed the benefit that these items grant to apply a 5% boost to Commendation earns for 60 minutes, and can only be used every 60 minutes.
- Audacity Scrolls dropping from lootboxes for Monster Players are now correctly Bound to Account.
- Orc Defiler – Enhanced Fungal Spores once again correctly applies its +15% Incoming Healing effect.
- Burglars are now properly directed to the next step of the Ettenmoors tutorial to receive their gear.
- Siege equipment has been disabled for both players and monster players.
Quests, Missions, and Adventure Areas
- Implemented a fix to increase performance in Delving missions and instances.
- Wargs will no longer travel outside of the instance space but continue to use Delving skills in the Before the Shadow Mission “The Jaws of Death”.
- Delving Quartermasters and Delving Mission Givers have been added to eight additional Skirmish Camps.
- The Delving weekly quest “Delve Deepest” now refers to “3/6 person” instances for clarity.
- The mission “Dangerous Deliveries” now functions properly again.
- The minimum level to begin the quest “Rohan Awaits” has been reduced to 72 from 74. This quest can also now be turned in even if you have already completed the story line at Langhold in the Wold.
- The healers in the “Angmar Reborn” and “Gondor Renewed” questing hubs now sell Draughts, Salves, and other items of all levels.
- The ‘Strange Phial’ found on the Abandoned Waggon in Upper Lebennin will again bestow “A Trail Marked Indagir”.

News and Notes:
Game performance
- Treasure Bugan quest bestowal should no longer cause a large client hitch.
Items
- The Brawler Ost Dunhoth Armour Set is now correctly named, and now equips to the correct slots.
- Many early quest weapons are now correctly categorized and searchable in the wardrobe, particularly hammers, axes, daggers and clubs.
Lootboxes
- Adventurer’s and Traveller’s Steel-bound Lootboxes have been updated to feature new items, with “Horse Archer’s” cosmetic items, including Avatar cosmetics, a Steed, and matching War-steed appearances, a Jerboa cosmetic pet, plus new and classic housing and other items including a Potted Palm, Jerboa House, Fox and Fiddle Inn Signpost, a Vase of White Clover, Steed of the Eldar and a Vase of Cockscomb. Some of these items are also available with Filbert Fig for Figments of Splendour.
- Some older avatar cosmetics and steeds have been moved off of Filbert Fig and onto the Curator.
Landscapes
- A Brawler trainer has been added, and a Beorning trainer has been removed for lore reasons, from the Orthanc Ox-Clan Merchant Camp.
- Miscellaneous floating objects have been resolved.
- Miscellaneous buried resources and creatures have been resolved.
- Miscellaneous terrain seams have been resolved.
- Miscellaneous Z-fighting has been resolved.
- Both entrances to the Herne Auction Hall are now labelled correctly.
- Miscellaneous physics issues have been resolved.
- Miscellaneous stuck spots have been resolved.
- Miscellaneous terrain texture issues have been resolved.
Localization
- German: Text displays correctly for the Embers of Enchantment received from the Adventurer’s Quartermaster in the German client.
LOTRO Store and Market
- Once per account deliveries, such as expansion pack Expedition Supplies and Supporter Pack Starter items, now require a character to have the Novice trait before delivery to help prevent accidental loss of these items due to character deletion.
Missions
- Turtles in the mission “Terrible Turtle Trouble” will now apply the Delving effects “Sauron’s Wrath” and “Sauron’s Blessing” on each other.
PvMP
- A couple Orc Defiler appearances were accidentally changed in a recent update, and have been corrected:
- The Boar-tribe Chieftan appearance has been returned to its original state.
- The U34 Ultimate Edition defiler appearance has also been returned to its intended Boar-tribe state. The name of its trait has also been corrected, as it changes your appearance into that of a Boar-tribe Orc, not a Mordor Orc.
UI
- The Renewal of Gondor Quartermaster now uses the correct map icon.
Update 36.2 Release Notes
Here are the release notes for Update 36.2, released on Wednesday, August 2nd, 2023.
News and Notes
- Fixed an issue where Delving Mission quests on Tier 8 counted toward the weekly delving quest “Delve Deepest (Weekly)”, and 6-person Tier 8 Delvings did not.
NOTE: DELVE DEEPEST (WEEKLY) HAS BEEN VERSIONED. THIS QUEST WILL RESET ANY PROGRESS MADE ON UPDATE.
Bug Fixes:
- Halglis, the Guardian barter vendor at Glân Vraig, has been informed that his attire was inappopriate. The dwarf, under minimal protest, relented and donned his armour once again. Huzzah!
- Samwise Gamgee – Loyal Attendant could previously give you some fish that, due to lack of recipes, would need to be eaten raw – completely against the advice he provides. This has been remedied.
- The Farmer’s Faire quest “Missing Things” now properly counts toward the daily wrapper.
- Steed of the Eldar items received from Adventurer’s and Traveller’s lootboxes will now correctly bind to account and disenchant. This does not correct Steed of the Eldar items already obtained from Adventurer’s and Traveller’s lootboxes.
- Collection Panel information on where to acquire the following cosmetic pets has been updated: Spotted Jerboa, Copper Nether-hound, Buff Donkey, Formal Corgi, Toffee Goat Kid, Mottled Craban, Ashen Eagle, Copper Goat, Spotted Pig, Two-toned Sheep, and Red Gecko.
- On smaller resolutions, the Rhovanion sub-menu will now have a scrollbar if it is too tall for the game client.
- Tiers 2 and 3 of Tokens of Heroism now properly advance the weekly Tasks limit. We will correct Tier 1 in the near future.
- The Pelennor Ambusher’s Armour set bonus now works as expected for Burglars.
- Items from the Ettenmoors that were placed into players banks were throwing a string table error when added to bank inventories. This has been fixed.
General Changes:
- This build includes changes in support of the upcoming 7th season of the Legendary Items Reward Track. Reward Track Season 7 debuts on August 16th at 10:00 AM Eastern (-4 GMT).

This build includes changes in support of the upcoming Farmer’s Faire, which debuts on the live game worlds at 10:00 AM Eastern (-4 GMT) on August 17th and runs until 3:00 AM Eastern (-4 GMT) on September 7th. New rewards include Blazing Firmament character cosmetics, steed, and war-steed cosmetics, a Blazing Firmament Centrepiece housing decoration, and a Fire-fox Bandit cosmetic pet.

Small and Medium Essence and Tracery Carry-alls can now hold up to 400 of any given essence, tracery, or enhancement rune.
- Large Essence and Tracery Carry-alls can now hold up to 1000 of any given essence, tracery, or enhancement rune.
